Rebranding for Tic Tacs (Well an unofficial one anyway) but it show cases simplicity and effective use of type, plus the use of colour from the product to make the product look a little simple but very appealing and.. aesthetically pleasing?
Taking Photos from here once I get home.

RMB - HSBC Advert
I've banged this in, just because it's a really nice thing to look at quite simply. It's some really nice type and type is something I want to get as much influence as I can for when I come to working out how I'm going to rebrand/repackage the products I choose. This was created by a graphic design agency called GREY London.

Break from the research.Typography!
Just found this.. I absolute loved it and I'm more then likely going to make something along these lines for my Portfolio, a big A3 sheet just to put another one in there. Why not eh?
I already started doing something like this a while back with some film posters and things, Also using comic sans just to see how many people noticed.. that's here.

Typography work
Doing some Typography work just to practice, 3D mainly. Was thinking of something like this for the A Rakes Progress work but pretty sure the plaster casted armour is where it's at.

Finian McManus
Some work by Finian Macmanus. He tends to not incorporate type into his work but I do really enjoy the way it's done when he does. It's a lot smaller then most other type, occupies a lot less space but generally has a lot more meaning because everything else there is there to represent it. I like the idea of doing something along these lines, working Type into A Rakes progress in a way that the type helps to represent/depict each one while they help to bring meaning to the text.
Free a caged mind.
Conciousness.

Islam Zayed's - More Typography.
Same lines, take a meaning from each bit of A Rakes Progress.. Like Insanity? and go with something a long these lines..
Theo Aartsma - 3D Typography
Looking at Theo Aartsma's Typography makes me want to try something a long the lines of it.. I like it because of how intricate it is. There is so much detail in it. If I was going to do something along these lines I would need to give more meaning to the detail, not just put it there to look cool!
